The founder behind Wellibites is Swedish Sara Serray. She is a qualified pharmacist, has worked in the pharmacy industry for a long time and is also concerned with diet. She saw the growing trend of sugar consumption, obesity and diabetes among young people, and thought it must be possible to develop a healthy alternative. Sara bet house, car and job, and set about experimenting with a sugar-free candy at home in the kitchen. Eventually, she started production at a factory. Wellibites was launched in Sweden towards the end of 2018. Already the following year, these lovely goody bags also became available here in Norway.
